In Great Britain, The targets are several: a 20% jump in energy efficiency, 10% of vehicle traffic powered by biofuels, and 15% of energy derived from renewable sources.
Britain only derives 2% of its energy from renewables rithg now, and so must build six and a half times what it has now - all within the next 12 years. Britain is plannig to use 15% in 2020. Well its not much compared to Sweden which is already using 40% of renewable energies and plans to use 49% in 2020.

The biggest part of renewables will come from wind:
“I’d say that by 2020 we would have about 6,000 or 7,000 turbines offshore and about 5,000 onshore,” says Charles Anglin from the British Wind Energy Association (BWEA).
