New Solar installation at Reunion Island
Some great news from my island – Reunion Island !
Group Ravate, through its subsidiary Ravat BUSINESS leading distributor of building materials in the Indian Ocean, and Urbasolar, have created a joint venture to be able to Operate and create new installations of photovoltaics here at the Reunion Island.
The Ravate group is the 4th biggest industrial group here at the Reunion Island. It has been here since 1939. The group has realized a turnover of € 250 million and employs 750 employees throughout the trading of building materials and many brands of large retailers.
Ravate’s industrial buildings where they’re selling building materials has already been covered by Photovoltaic panels at St Pierre – a capital of the south.
URBASOLAR’s previsions are for 6 other Solar electricity plants on other RAVAT’s buldings and the investments of 150 Milions of Euros through next 3 years.
