RiverSimple is designing small, urban, two-seater car, which will be powered by hydrogen fuel cells, with a network hybrid design and made from carbon composites, it has been designed to achieve over 300 mp (which is very efficient).

Riversimple will invite the community to help develop its vehicles, by licensing its designs to the independent open source foundation 40 Fires.

The car has 4 electric motors – each motor is in one wheel !

So there are :

  • hydrogen fuel cells.
  • four electric motors, one on each wheel
  • regeneration of electricity by these motors when the car is braking – known as regenerative braking
  • body made of lightweight composites.
