I’m looking to install solar landscape lighting using LED’s, but would like to use capacitors instead of batteries for power storage. I’m a dummy about electricity – so can this be done and, if so, how would you hook something like this up? Or better yet, are there products on the market at a reasonable cost that already do this? (The few I’ve seen on the internet are exorbitantly priced, given the inexpensive cost of a capacitor.

Any help you be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don’t think that even with solar panels on the roof you won’t get much more “juice” to be able to recharge your batteries. The think is to be able to have enough power to get back home (or to the nearest charging station). With a Bluecar maybee?
